The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

Chapter 89 - Murder In The Club

If I get murdered in the city

Don\'t go revenging in my name

One person dead from such is plenty

No need to go get locked away.

(Murder in the City)

--Avett brothers.

On the other side.

Unluckily, Zhenyi had to approach the so-called law protectors to give her testimony as she was the suspect in the murder case of the \'real owner of the club Dèja Vú. The word \' real\' was getting too much irksome to Zhenyi for some reasons. First Real home, then Real answers, and after that this Real owner.

Was it too late to delete the word from the dictionary?

Fan Bingbing had to go to the hospital to check on Sam and Cao Feng, and couldn\'t join Zhenyi at the murder scene. Hence, in the end, Lu Xinyi came with Zhenyi.

Poor Lu Xinyi had no idea what she was dealing with.

Zhenyi reached the crime scene with Lu Xinyi. The ever-lively club was silent as the still water. The police had seized the club and in the distance, Zhenyi could hear the wailing siren.

The yellow tape was circling the crime spot.

Zhenyi and Lu Xinyi were standing near the car in the distance. A very handsome cop was investigating the case, joined by few other subordinates.

"The man was shot dead in the head, " The subordinate said to the officer.

"Check if there are any imprints left on the body," the officer let out while checking out the corpse.

"Sure, we will know more once we get back at the lab." The subordinate who happened to be a forensic expert informed.

"What do you think of the cause of death other than the bullet shot?" The officer inquired.

"The death is definitely caused by the shot but if you are asking if there are any bruises internal or external, we can only know that after the postmortem report."

"Okay. Inform me when you get any information," the officer said and the forensic expert left the crime spot.

Zheng Han, the leading officer of the case looked around to find some evidence. What a strange murder! No one knew why the man was murdered in the first place. The only suspect was Xin Zhenyi, who had a beef with the owner of the club as the police had gathered the information through the grapevine. But the police couldn\'t arrest someone without concrete evidence, especially a big shot like Xin Zhenyi.

The police needed not involve the media in this case. That was why not even a single paparazzi was seen on the crime spot. Xin Zhenyi was not only the big boss of Xin cooperation but also the granddaughter of the former president of the country who served the county not once but twice.

"Where is the suspect?" Officer Han asked his subordinate officer.

How much it took the police to call the suspect? It was more than an hour already.

"There, sir" The subordinate officer pointed in the distance, where a woman in a black business suit with dark shades on her eyes was standing near the car with more than ten bodyguards.

\'An unforgettable entry already\' Zheng Han thought in his mind.

" It was a little difficult to get hold of, Miss Xin," the subordinate informed Officer Han. Only he knew how difficult it was to converse with the secretary and attorney of Xin Zhenyi.

"Little difficult? When do the Chinese police start facing \'little difficulty in getting hold of culprits?" Officer Han asked. Just because she was a big shot didn\'t mean she could escape the clutches of the law.

Every fucking citizen of this country was equal before the law of the country. Big shot or not.

"Officer Han, Miss Xin is a suspect till now," the other man said in favor of Xin Zhenyi.

"Get her to me, " Officer Han barked.

"Sir, can you ---"

"Can I what?" Officer asked in frustration.

"Umm...talk to her in a way different than your usual one. Miss Xin can be a little persuasive."

"So, persuasive is the code for difficult?"Officer Han asked again.

"Umm..."

"OUT. OF. MY. WAY. NOW. I will see this difficult or persuasive or whatever-the-hell -you call character all by myself." Officer Han ordered his subordinate.

"Sure, sir," said the subordinate in reply.

Zheng Han marched towards the car where Zhenyi was standing with her bodyguards and her secretary. She removed her shades and nodded at the incoming officer. The first thing the officer noticed was her unusual eye color but he didn\'t comment on it.

The woman was unusually beautiful and there was no word to describe the aura she carried.

"Miss Xin, so, you are the infamous culprit," Officer Han said with a hint of surprise. To be honest, he was expecting a spoilt brat but her aura was enough to tell him, she was no ordinary woman.

Zhenyi eyed the police officer, questioning her. If she had not seen great beauties like her husband, her brother, or her father, she would be astonished by the Greek beauty in front of her.

Sigh! Such a waste of a handsome face.

If he wished to join the entertainment industry, she could make him famous overnight.

However, of all the occupations in the world, he had selected to become a police officer?

Sigh.

Such a waste.

How much money she could have made of his face?

"Hello to you too, a little more charming, Mr. Law protector. Does someone ever tell you that you belong to the front cover of the fashion magazines? And as for your question, the correct term in my dictionary is innocent. So, yes I\'m the innocent suspect," said Zhenyi with a sparkling smile.

Lu Xinyi who was standing beside Zhenyi was still hesitating to let her boss talk to the police. Just as Fan Bingbing said that Zhenyi hated police, Lu Xinyi was watching it before her eyes.

Only her boss could dare to talk to the police like this.

"Officer Xu, you didn\'t tell that other tha being difficult and persuasive, the other word to describe Miss Xin is fascinating and beautiful too," said Zheng Han as he looked at his subordinate.

The woman was not only difficult to handle but eloquent too.

But he had to admit she was equally beautiful and intriguing. He had seen a fair share of beauty in his life but never had he ever encountered one such as her.

"Ah, pleasure is all mine, Mr. Law protector. How are we doing?" Asked Zhenyi.

"You see, Miss Xin, the man over there is killed." Zheng Han pointed towards the corpse the police were lifting to send it for postmortem. " The dead\'s name is Pei Jun. He is the owner of this club. Sorry, he was the owner, before he sold it to you, three days ago," said Zheng Han in a very casual tone as if they were not discussing a murder.

Zheng Han was aware of the fact that he couldn\'t talk to Zhenyi in an authoritative manner. Just as his subordinate said she could be persuasive, Zheng Han approached a soft approach to deal with hard people like Zhenyi.

"So, this smelly dead body belongs to the Pei guy who used to be the so-called \'real\' owner of the place?" Zhenyi asked casually as she looked at the dead body again.

But, why the heck the dead man looked like an old man?

"Miss Lu, didn\'t you say it was a young man who was killed in the club and had little kids and a wife too?" Lu Xinyi nodded in response.

"But he clearly doesn\'t fit the description. Ah, I take back the sympathy that I wasted on this heap."

Clearly, he received an easy death! If he was the real owner then what about the guy she killed a few days ago?

Correction --- she had ordered to kill a few days ago?

Or this dead heap was just an owner in namesake.

"Miss Xin, you can\'t disrespect the dead," reprimanded Zheng Han.

"The smelly heap is already dead, Mr. Law protector, and I don\'t think he can carry my respect all the way to hell with him. Right? I have heard dead can\'t carry anything with them except their good deeds which I suppose this heap already lacks, " Zhenyi replied with a shrug.

And respect? What the hell was this officer talking about? It was not her fault the killer chose to kill this dead old man at her property. Who allowed him to get murdered at her property? If it was possible, she would hunt his soul all the way from hell and shot him again.

As for the dead old man\'s murderer, she would make sure to find that daring man and shot him herself before extracting money for all the losses her club incurred because of this murder charade?

[If I didn\'t get, at least twenty comments from twenty different people then i\'m gonna die and won\'t come back even if you would call me. Then who is gonna write Zhenyi and Jie?]
