Chapter 326 - News Of Death.

Chapter 326 - News Of Death.

In Coldland.

\'\'Haaah!\'\'

*BAM!*

A young woman with beautiful black hair styled in a ponytail was hitting a wooden training dummy. She was wearing tight pants with sport bras that left her stomach and lower back visible.

Her beautiful face was drenched in sweat, but it only made her soft skin shine and look more delicate.

The sweatdrops trickled down from her collarbones all the way through her cleavage before dropping down to the floor.

The floor around her was getting slippery, caused by the sweat, but she didn\'t mind and kept striking the training dummy like it was her nemesis.

A shimmer of light appeared from the windows, making the previous bright room even brighter.

\'\'It\'s already a morning?\'\' Azura looked surprised as the light covered her vision, but she didn\'t turn her head away, instead enjoyed the warmth coming from the sun.

*Creak*

A door to the training room was opened, and Alena appeared with a tray, which was filled with all kinds of food.

\'\'Did you get any sleep?\'\' She asked with worry and put the tray down on the chair.

\'\'I am fine— I just didn\'t feel sleepy, that\'s all,\'\' Azura replied with an energetic expression. She doesn\'t feel even a tinge of sleepiness; instead, it was like she could go run a marathon.

Alena wryly smiled and said, \'\'Come eat— you must be hungry.\'\'

Azura hopped towards the chair and grabbed a sandwich before stuffing it inside her tiny mouth.

*Creak*

*Bam!*

The building shook, which made the tray fall down on the floor and almost made Alena fall down before she managed to stabilize herself.

Azura was fine, and soon the trembling stopped.

\'\'Earthquake?!\'\' Alena asked with a shock, but Azura soon had a massive smile as she shouted, \'\'It must be dad!\'\' She ran off the training room, followed quickly by Alena.

They heard a commotion coming from outside the front door, which they opened without wasting any second.

First, they saw servants murmuring with each other while surrounding something.

\'\'What is going on?\'\' Alena asked, which earned the attention of all servants, who looked pale and didn\'t know what to do.

Azura and Alena curiously looked at where they were looking and soon widened their eyes in horror.

Aether was lying on the snowy ground with an emotionless face and white pupils. His hair had streaks of lightning circling around but didn\'t do any apparent damage to him.

\'\'Aether!\'\' Alena screamed and crouched down next to him.

Azura covered her mouth in shock and urgently asked from servants, \'\'What happened?!\'\'

One of the oldest servants said, \'\'He fell down from the sky with a bolt of lightning!\'\'

Alena and Azura widened their eyes.

\'\'Why did dad do this?\'\' Azura asked anxiously. Aether seems to be heavily injured.

Alena went silent and looked closely at Aether\'s injuries and didn\'t see any damage outside, but she has learned from Abyss how to check internal damage just from the feeling pulse of the individual.

She put her two fingers on Aether\'s throat and gasped in shock, \'\'C-Call ambulance, NOW!\'\'

Her enraged shout instantly caused servants to do what she told.

\'\'M-Mom, w-what\'s wrong?\'\' Azura asked with her face turning paler as she noticed her mother\'s pained face.

\'\'He has severe injuries…\'\' Alena closed her eyes and bit her lip until it was bleeding.

\'\'W-W-Why dad did this?\'\' Azura asked; she couldn\'t understand the reason why her dad did something like this.

\'\'It was not Abyss…\'\' Alena held her son\'s hand and said solemnly, \'\'They got attacked. If Abyss was forced to send Aether away, it must be an opponent that can fight him in equal standings.\'\'

Azura\'s pupils contracted, \'\'W-What about Ichiro?!\'\' She screamed with shock and looked at the bright blue sky, hoping that another bolt of lightning would descend, but nothing appeared.

\'\'Ugh…\'\' Suddenly, Aether had signs of movement as his emotionless face started to change!

\'\'Aether!\'\' Alena and Azura instantly exclaimed.

\'\'M-M-Mom…\'\' Aether uttered his words with pain and felt useless.

He regained his consciousness for a second before being sent away by Abyss and managed to see the dire situation before everything became dark again.

\'\'Aether, what happened?\'\' Alena asked gently and kept listening to Aether\'s heartbeat.

\'\'A-A-Attacked… Dark robes…\'\' He tried to open his mouth one more time, but no more words came.

\'\'Alright, rest.\'\' Alena gently said and stopped Aether from talking.

\'\'What about Ichiro?\'\' Azura anxiously asked and saw Aether\'s face had pain for a split second.

\'\'What happened to him?!\'\' She screamed anxiously after seeing Aether look more pained when she mentioned his name.

\'\'Azura, enough. He needs rest.\'\' Alena calmed her down, which was an impossible task.

*Creak*

Before things could get more heated, the gates were opened, and a man with a black suit appeared with a serious look.

Everyone turned their heads towards the man with a black suit and frowned.

Alena narrowed her eyes and knew that the man with the black suit worked for the government.

\'\'Sigh…\'\' The man with the black suit sighed and looked at the letter in his hand. This man is Owen, and he is usually the one who brings the news of deaths to their families.

Usually, he would bring news about some unimportant government worker dying, and it is always as hard for him to deliver these news.

It usually ends up him being yelled at or becoming outlast of their anger, but he lets them unleash their anger and sadness on him.

That is one of the worst jobs Government has to offer, and the only reason he got this job was because a girl, who was fancied by a high member of Government liked him and ended up confessing to him, which earned him a great amount of bad will from the high member of Government, who gave him this sh*tty job.

It didn\'t help that he actually accepted the confession and is now happily married with her, which stopped him from moving ranks completely, and he has to do this sh*tty job till he ends in the grave.

He doesn\'t regret the things he did, he still hates this job, but this is definitely the most important news of death he has ever informed.

Soon, News Stations will hear about it, and the news will spread in every corner of the world; that\'s why he had to hurry here before News come out.

\'\'I am from Government, my name is Owen, and I am sorry to inform, but Abyss Nightside, the Humanity\'s Hope has died doing his duties to bring a peace to humanity…\'\' After finishing his sentence, a silence ensued.
