Tang Meng was very reliable. The speedboat he got for Ling Yun was fifteen meters long, three meters wide, and two meters deep. The draft was eighty-three centimeters, and displacement was nearly thirteen tons.

The two engines of two thousand seven hundred horsepower were imported and could travel at fifty-eight knots. The cabin was spacious and presentable. Ling Yun was satisfied.

This was actually a high-speed motorboat. If it were equipped with weapons, it could be used by the coast guards in border control.

Of course, the speedboat wasn’t equipped with any weapons. It was a private leisure speedboat.

Without a doubt, Ling Yun and Little White were the most fearsome weapons on board!

Ling Yun only took ten minutes to fully grasp the machinery in front of him. After which, he left the dock and gradually accelerated into the endless sea.

Ling Yun cruised at about forty knots an hour. They came to the deep-sea area in the East China Sea about half an hour later, averaging one kilometer in depth.

He was more than sixty kilometers away from the shoreline.

The waves were turbulent, and the breeze turned into a cold wind.

Ling Yun was exhilarated. It was his first time out at sea. He accelerated again to fifty knots towards the southeast.

He would reach Turtle Island in four hours at this speed.

Ling Yun left the boat on auto-pilot once he set the destination. He picked up a bottle of mineral water and took a long drink from it before passing to Little White.

Tension was visibly present in Little White’s eyes.

“Little White, are you afraid?” Ling Yun asked with an attractive smile.

Little White nodded her head furiously, completely nervous. She hoped that Ling Yun would turn back immediately.

Ling Yun patted Little White’s head and asked, “Are you afraid of the sea or of the tribulation?”

Little White blinked and sat up straight. She raised her front paw and pointed to the sea outside the window.

“It’s only the sea, don’t worry. Come with me to the deck...” Ling Yun laughed heartily.

Ling Yun got up and opened the hatch. The damp sea breeze seeped into the cabin and sent Ling Yun’s clothes flapping in the wind. The silhouette of his perfect figure could be seen clearly.

Any ordinary person would have a problem balancing with the sea breeze and the speed that the speedboat was traveling at. At Physique Tempering Stage Six, it was nothing to Ling Yun.

Ling Yun moved to the bow of the boat, his feet firmly on the deck and his hands behind his back. He looked into the horizon, majestic and heroic.

Little White went to his side, her snow-white tails in plain sight, fluttering in the wind. There was no need to hide them since they were alone.

“We have gone through so much together. The crater, the python, the water monster, bat caverns... What’s there to be afraid of on a small sea?”

Ling Yun leaned over and carried Little White in his arms. He declared proudly as he stroked her smooth fur, “Just get used to it!”

Little White finally calmed down a little with Ling Yun’s constant encouragement and comfort. She adapted to the environment in no time and started fooling around with Ling Yun.

They played around happily like two children who had just received a new toy.

Away from the bustling city and the hustle of the world, he felt as though he had returned to the Cultivation World.

Of course, it would perfect the image if the speedboat was a wooden boat instead.

The water spiritual energy gradually thickened the further they moved from the coastline, and soon, Ling Yun began to absorb it with joy.

The water spiritual energy was different from Natural Qi. Water was the source of life. It was formless and could become soft and violent, depending on the circumstance. Ling Yun was preparing to use the water spiritual energy to cultivate the Omnipotent Water Control Technique.

The Omnipotent Water Control Technique would allow the wielder to control the soft nature of water to defend himself. He would also be able to use the violent nature of water to attack enemies. This technique was as powerful as the Yin-Yang harmony balance.

Three hours went by in an instant. Ling Yun returned to the cabin and was delighted to know that he was less than thirty nautical miles from Turtle Island.

In the name of prudence, he filled the spatial ring to the brim with food and drinking water.

Ling Yun reduced the speed to about thirty knots to prevent the speedboat from hitting the reefs as they neared Turtle Island. He then proceeded to have a quick bite with Little White.

Night was falling as a huge shadow loomed on the horizon. That was definitely Turtle Island.

Turtle Island was the main island in a series of islands in the East Sea. It covered an area of nearly 4.5 square kilometers and had a maximum elevation of three hundred and sixty-two meters. They were Huaxia’s territory historically.

In the year 1945, the Japanese Government was defeated. The islands were returned to the embrace of the motherland. Various historical records clearly demarcated that Turtle Island and the surrounding islands belonged to Huaxia. The Japanese Government, however, handed over jurisdiction of the islands to the United States under the pretext of protection.

Since the Ryukyu Islands were under the United States’ jurisdiction, Turtle Island became a shooting range of the United States military.

In the year 1970, the United States handed over jurisdiction of the Ryukyu Islands and Turtle Island to the Japanese Government.

In the year 1972, Huaxia and the Japanese Government established diplomatic relations. At that point in time, the Prime Minister proposed postponing the discussion of sovereignty of the islands until the time was right. Both sides reached an agreement on this point.

Just seven years later, the Japanese Government built an airport for helicopters on Turtle Island. In the 1990s, the Japanese Youth Society built a lighthouse on it.

The Huaxia Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed “serious concerns and strong protest” against the above-mentioned issues.

The tension between the two countries had since escalated over the sovereignty of Turtle Island. There was even a proposal to “buy the island!”

Just last year, the Japanese patrol boats crashed into Huaxia’s fishing boats. They even arrested the captain of the fishing boat. Extremely arrogant!

These activities had long provoked the anger of the people of Huaxia!

Ling Yun didn’t change his speed. Turtle Island was clearly in sight and was growing larger!

Can’t get within fifteen nautical miles of Turtle Island? Check out how I land on the island!

About twenty nautical miles away from Turtle Island, a fishing boat that belonged to Huaxia drifted closer.

The wind got crazier in the dark seas. The waves had risen three meters high, but Ling Yun was still cruising at the same speed. He stood on the bow and passed by the fishing boat.

“My friend, don’t go any closer! There are many Japanese patrol boats in front. They just shooed us back!”

A kind-hearted fisherman warned Ling Yun out of goodwill with a loudspeaker. They definitely noticed the speed Ling Yun was traveling at.

Ling Yun turned back and smiled at the middle-aged fisherman holding the loudspeaker. “No problem...” Ling Yun said with telepathy.

Ling Yun came looking for trouble, so he wasn’t afraid of the patrol boats. Try and hit him!

The middle-aged fisherman was bewildered that Ling Yun ignored his warning. He couldn’t resist grumbling to his crew, saying, “It seems like that guy wants to sail into Turtle Island. Did he eat the heart of a leopard? His speedboat is definitely not enough to measure up to the equipment and firepower of the Japanese patrol boats!”

The fishermen who dared to venture into these waters were mostly hotblooded and gutsy. “Let’s go and see what happens. The sea is rough, we can help out if something happens to this young chap!” One of the long-haired young crew members suggested.

The middle-aged fisherman was Yang Desheng. Yang Desheng rejected the suggestion immediately. “Wang Zhongyi, are you trying to kill your Uncle Yang? It’s so dark, and that speedboat has no markings. We don’t even know what that person is doing, and you want to accompany him to the patrol boats? Are you looking for an early death?”

Ling Yun’s speedboat was about to enter the fifteen nautical mile radius of Turtle Island. Yang Desheng took one look and shook his head. “This guy will retreat when he realizes the difficulty of getting onto Turtle Island. In any case, there are three surveillance boats from Huaxia. They won’t ignore him, will they?”

Wang Zhongyi scratched his head, his expression filled with sarcasm. “Hehe, surveillance boats... What is this guy doing, driving a leisure speedboat to Turtle Island... Courageous, that’s a total waste of time...”

“Yes, those surveillance boats are afraid of triggering a war between the two countries and only dare complain outside of the fifteen nautical mile area. That’s not solving anything!” Another crew member chipped in.

Ling Yun stood at the bow, enjoying the wind. He was more than three nautical miles away from the fishing boat and saw three other large ships being chased away by seven or eight Japanese patrol boats. It was a game of cats chasing rats on the sea.

Ling Yun couldn’t help but sneer. “Are these the legendary surveillance boats?”
